Jakdo (作圖), the Korean term for geometric construction, is the practice of drawing figures with nothing more than an unmarked straightedge and a compass. By reaching exact results with limited tools and clearly defined steps, it represents logic and precision to us. The lines left on the page are the result; everything that leads to them is the making.
We chose the name because we want to make things in the same way. We begin with simple principles, use only the tools we need, and work toward a result true to the intent without skipping the judgments the process demands. To us, craft is not an alternative to creativity; it is the discipline of seeing an idea through. We value the level of finish built through repetition and practice, control over the details, and care throughout the process.
What we make varies wildly, across everything we find interesting to make: something that helps someone, an idea the world doesn’t have yet, something useful to us, something that brings people closer, or just something fun. Whatever the direction, we like working with people who have a point of view of their own.
As AI enthusiasts, we love bringing AI tools into our workflow. But for now, we still believe craft comes from keeping our hands on the process and sweating the details. Lately, what we care about most is using these tools without being steered by them, and building products that help others do the same.
